London is Calling!

So pick up. LOL The book starts with a description of the vinegar tasters, which is a painting portraying the three great eastern thinkers, Confucius, the Buddha, and Laozi over a vat of vinegar. Each tasting the vinegar of "life," Confucius finds it sour, the Buddha finds it bitter, but Laozi, the traditional founder of Taoism, finds it satisfying. Then the story unfolds backing up this analogy.

London Eye vs MouseCo

The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. As of mid-January 2015, it has been known as the Coca-Cola London Eye. The structure is 443 feet (135 m) tall and the wheel has a diameter of 394 feet (120 m). When erected in 1999 it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel. Its height was surpassed by the 520 feet (158 m) tall Star of Nanchang in 2006, the 541 feet (165 m) tall Singapore Flyer in 2008, and the 550 feet (168 m) High Roller (Las Vegas) in 2014.

London Park

Guys. London's MouseCo Park is sick! There are activities on the ship for every age beyond the kids club. Our default was always the pools. The pools are good and never seem overly crowded, even on days at sea with 1000 captive kids on the ship. Our kids enjoyed the waterslides, but I would highly recommend waiting to go them. The line for the Aqua Dunk – the slide that drops suddenly and shoots you in a tube over the side of the ship and back – was over half an hour the first day of our most recent cruise. But by halfway through the trip, there was no line at all.

Think of London, a small city, it's dark, dark in the daytime. The people sleep, sleep in the daytime; if they want to, if they want to. I'm checking them out, I'm checking them out. I got it figured out, I got it figured out; there's good points and bad points. Find a city; find myself a city to live in. There are a lot of rich people in Birmingham. A lot of ghosts in a lot of houses. Look over there!... A dry ice factory? A good place to get some thinking done. Down El Paso way things get pretty spread out, people got no idea where in the world they are. They go up north and come back south; still got no idea where in the world they are. Did I forget to mention, to mention Memphis? Home of Elvis and the ancient Greeks. Do I smell? I smell home cooking. It's only the river, it's only the river.
